Offline First Architecture: Four Clues One Word is built to play 100% offline. All 500 handcrafted puzzle levels, images, letter algorithms, and game sounds are packaged directly inside the app. We do NOT require an internet connection for normal gameplay, nor do we require account registration or profile creation.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Because the app is designed for television entertainment and physical remote input, we do NOT request, collect, or store any of the following:

No personal identification info (names, phone numbers, home addresses).
No biometric, camera, microphone, or voice recordings.
No precise or coarse GPS location data.
No contacts list, calendar entries, SMS, or file storage access.
No financial credentials, credit cards, or banking information.

2. Local Data Storage on Your Device

To provide seamless gameplay and puzzle progression across TV sessions, the Game saves non-personal gameplay data locally on your device via Android Room Database and Jetpack DataStore:

Puzzle Progression: Current level number, solved status, stars earned, best completion times.
In-Game Economy: Virtual coin balance (coins earned through solving puzzles or bonus rewards).
Player Statistics: Total puzzles completed, hints purchased, accuracy rate, and achievements unlocked.
Game Preferences: Sound effect volume, background music toggle, animation settings, and celebration particle quality (Low/Normal/High).

This data resides exclusively on your local TV device storage. You can delete or reset this data at any time using the in-game "Reset Progress" feature in the Settings menu, or by clearing the application storage via the Android TV System Settings.

3. Third-Party Services and Analytics

The game may integrate trusted third-party SDKs provided by Google Play Services or Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to support optional gameplay features, ad delivery, or stability reporting:
